The Name of This Books is Secret and If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late – Pseudonymous Bosch
I read the first book in this series, ‘The Name of This Book is Secret’ years and years ago but I loved it! I put the box set on my amazon wishlist and thats where it sat for years. Then for Christmas just gone I printed off my amazon book wishlist to give to my mum, save having her trying to remember the books I’d have liked. And low and behold, Christmas morning I was unwrapping this. Since I first read it, they’ve had a cover change, which honestly I wasn’t too fond of to begin with, but it’s grown on me and I love the fact that they all match and look pretty on my shelf now.
Throne of Glass – Sarah J. Maas
Illuminae – Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
Both of these books are ones that I’ve picked up and started in the last year but haven’t finished. Illuminae was a book that intrigued me because of the way it was set out. I love books that incorporate picture, diagrams, folders and things because I think it immerses you even more in the story. However, after reading a fair chunk of this, I wasn’t sure if I was getting on with the layout. That being said – I really do want to get around to finishing this because I have heard nothing but good things about it. Throne of Glass is a book that I loved when I was reading it, but when I went to uni I forgot it and it somehow made its way to the back of my bookcase and I’ve only recently pulled it back out. We all know that everything Sarah J. Maas writes is gold, so I can’t wait to sink my teeth back into this.
Down and out in Paris and London – George Orwell
I’m not going to lie, I don’t really know what this one is about. But I’ve decided that I’d like to read more of the classics and I’ve had this one for such a long time, I thought I should just give it a go.
