I first heard about the FabFitFun box years ago. Back when I used to watch American beauty bloggers/vloggers, I remember vividly waiting to watch the new unboxing and wishing that I could get a box like that. I honestly don’t think any other subscription box can compete with that of FabFitFun. I have always been amazed by the things they manage to cram into the box and felt like its amazing value for money. So when they finally, (after all these years) announced that they were going to start shipping to the UK, I was beside myself! I had doubts that the shipping and taxes would be so high that it made buying the box pointless, but I was surprised to find out that shipping was just an extra $10, which I think is great value.
I was so excited to get stuck in with the box, that I didn’t even realise that you got to customise them!! What?! I got to pick three items that would definitely be in my box, and if you’re an annual member you get to pick even more!
Okay, so the first item I picked was the Spiritual Gangster Maya Kimono ($60), I love the print on this and it’s lovely and thin so is great for this warm weather we’ve been having. Next, I grabbed the Odeme What A Pair Set of 2 Silicone Wine Glasses ($25), I mainly liked the colour of these which influenced the selection. I also thought that these would be good to put pens or makeup brushes in, so while I’m not planning to use them as actual wine glasses, I still think they’re super cute and practical. My last selection was the West Elm Indigo Tie-Dye Bowls ($39), again this was just because of the colour and pattern. Plus I thought they would look pretty cute in my room as trinket bowls!

There were a lot of beauty and skincare products in this box, which I actually really liked. It was nice to try some new bits from brands I otherwise wouldn’t have picked up. I’ve never been one for foot masks, but I tried the Whish Exfoliating Foot Mask ($32) in my box and I thought it was pretty good! My feet were super soft the following day and I didn’t find that it took ages to dry or was tacky, which usually puts me off feet creams. It also smelt really nice too haha. I haven’t tried the Intelligent Nutrients Refining Micro Polish ($57) yet, but I’m really excited to! I love that it seems to be really fine so hopefully won’t irritate my sensitive skin! Another product that I haven’t tried yet (but plan to this weekend) is the Generation Clay Ultra Violet Brightening Mask ($39), I love a good face mask and considering this is now going to be the most expensive one I own, I’m expecting great things.

I love the packaging of the Grace & Stella Rose Facial Spray ($25.95) and after using it a few time, I really like it! I’m not normally one for face sprays but this is super refreshing and helps gives a lovely glow and hit of moisture to my usual dull and dry face. I also got the Dr. Brandt Luminizer Primer, I think this may have been the mystery product in the box because I couldn’t find it or a price in the box magazine, but I’m really impressed with it! I used it under my Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue cream when I went into London the other weekend. I spent the whole day travelling on trains and tubes, and it was warm. But I had no shine, smaller pores, and my makeup stayed exactly where it needed to all day. This is one I’m super happy to add to my makeup bag. The last thing in the box was the Invisibobble Original Due Pack ($16), and who doesn’t love a good Invisibobble! I’m always losing mine, so it’s nice to add a few more to the collection.
Would I order this box again? Well, I already have! I think this box is super great, and I love the variety that you get. Normally when I grab a subscription box, it’s an arts and crafts one, or beauty one, or a food one. I’ve never had a box before that was so varied. I also think it’s the first box I’ve had that allows you to customise the box, as well as receiving other standard bits, it makes it really feel as though this box was made for me! And I think it’s fantastic value for money, considering that with the introductory offer and shipping I paid $47.99 and everything in my box added up to around $290!! I can’t wait to receive my fall box this month!
